Press Release Regarding the Terrorist Attack Perpetrated in Kabul

We have learned with great sorrow that according to initial reports at least 27 people lost their lives and 35 others were injured as a result of the terrorist attack perpetrated against a mosque today (21 November) in Afghanistan's capital, Kabul.
We condemn in the strongest terms this heinous terrorist attack which targeted innocent civilians worshipping, wish God’s mercy upon those who lost their lives, hope for a speedy recovery of the wounded and convey our condolences to their families and the Afghan Government and brotherly Afghan people.
On this occasion, we reiterate once again our support to the Government of Afghanistan in its fight against terrorism and our solidarity with the brotherly Afghan people and believe that these heinous attacks, which aim at dragging Afghanistan into instability, will not achieve their goals.
