General Rules:

Egypt: Ordinary passport holders are required to have visa to enter Turkey. Official passport holders are exempted from visa for their travels up to 90 days. The ordinary Egypt pasaport holders with a valid Schengen or OECD member countries' visa or residence/work permit may getone month validsingleentry visa for $20.- upon arrival at the Istanbul Ataturk International Airport or via the Electronic Visa Application System: http://evisa.gov.tr/en/.

For those who do not hold a valid Schengen or OECD member countries’ visa (immigrant or non immigrant) and whose age under 20 or over 45 years old may getone month valid single entry visas for $20.- upon arrival at all Turkish international border entry pointsor via the Electronic Visa Application System: http://evisa.gov.tr/en/ .

Application:

The documents for the application ofa single entry tourist visa; Passport, filled application form, 405.- LE visa fee, work attestation letter. You can get your visa within 3-5 days after admission. Please read also the following information about the Turkish e-visa:

The most convenient way to obtain Turkish one entry visa: e-Visa

e-Visa: 1- You are an Egyptian national holding a valid Schengen visa or a valid visa from any of the OECD member countries; or you have a valid residence permit of a Schengen or OECD country, 2- You are an Egyptian national whose age is under 20 or over 45 years old. You don't have to apply in person to Turkish missions to get your tourist visa. You could take easily your tourist visa through "e-visa Electronic Visa Application System" in the comfort of your home: http://evisa.gov.tr/en/
